Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter for River Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM. The Porter will keep the lot tidy, move units as directed, and assist with deliveries, ensuring vehicles are clean and ready for customers and showrooms.

We offer potential pay ranges of $15.00-$17.00 per hour, medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid vacation, paid training, and growth opportunities with a well-established family-owned group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to safely operate machinery and drive vehicles.
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries and vehicle movement.
• Ensure vehicles on lot and showroom are clean and in good repair.
• Move vehicles from storage and deliver to other lots or storage locations.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup and grounds maintenance.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our nextPorter.Located atRiver Oaks Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, thePorteris responsible for performing a variety of duties as they relate to the upkeep of vehicles: including maintaining the cleanliness and readiness in appearance of vehicles, and transporting vehicle and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to handle machinery safely
• Ability to drive a manual & automatic transmission
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to operate an automobile
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
