Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Porter at Napleton Valley Genesis. You will help maintain vehicle appearance, transport vehicles and customers, and support dealership operations at the Napleton Valley Genesis location in Illinois.

Starting pay ranges from $16 to $18 per hour, with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and vacation. This role offers growth opportunities within a large, multi-brand dealer group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive a manual and an automatic transmission.
• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Ability to operate an automobile.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly and move units as directed.
• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Assist with customer deliveries.
• Ensure all vehicles are clean and in good repair on lot and showroom.
• Pickup/return vehicles from storage and to storage or other dealerships.
• Assist with weather-related cleanup when necessary.
• Perform building and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Handle other functions and special projects as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed by the Sales/Service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
• Transporting customers and dealership personnel, as needed
• Assisting with customer deliveries
• Ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
• Picking up vehicles from storage and deliver vehicles to storage and other dealerships
• Assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
• Building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Other functions and special projects may be assigned
