Job summary

Renesas seeks an experienced Sr Principal Verification Engineer to lead verification for automotive PMIC products. You will architect mixed-signal verification environments, drive strategies, and mentor a team across RTL, GLS, and analog blocks.

You will collaborate with Design, ATE, and Silicon Validation, ensuring high-quality verification plans, coverage, and documentation, while embracing innovative tools and AI-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in mixed-signal or analog circuit verification.
• Proficiency with RNM/AMS model integration and GLS flows.
• RTL and behavioral simulation experience with industry tools like Spectre/Xcelium.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect mixed-signal verification environments (RNM/AMS).
• Develop verification plans for automotive PMIC products with ISO 26262/AEC-Q200.
• Lead GLS flows and debug analog/digital blocks across PVT corners.
• Perform RTL and Gate-Level simulations; analyze timing, power, and correctness.
• Collaborate with Design, ATE, and Silicon Validation teams for handoffs.
• Mentor junior verification engineers and establish best practices.
• Advance verification tools/methodologies and explore AI-based solutions.
• Create comprehensive verification documentation, test plans, and coverage metrics.
