IT8 USA Corporation in Pflugerville, TX, is seeking a PLC Manager to lead engineers, technicians, and automation staff on welding/assembly lines for automotive manufacturing. You will oversee PLC, safety programming, and HMI, manage projects from planning through startup, and drive continuous improvement.
Ideal candidates have a degree in electrical/mechatronics, 5+ years in PLC programming and leadership, experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Omron, and strong client-facing
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, or controls engineering.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred (2+ years).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage PLC programmers, controls engineers, technicians, and automation personnel.
- Oversee PLC programming, PLC safety programming, and HMI programming for manufacturing and industrial automation systems.
- Manage automation projects through all phases from planning to startup and completion.
- Monitor timelines, resources, productivity, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, robotic, and automation issues; interpret diagrams and drawings.
- Coordinate robot integration and industrial networking within manufacturing environments.
- Generate project status reports and technical documentation; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
