Job summary
IT8 USA Corporation in Austin, Texas, is seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to design, program, test, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems for customer production lines. You will work with Allen-Bradley Studio 5000, RSLogix, Siemens TIA Portal on projects across manufacturing sectors, and must be willing to travel and relocate domestically as needed.
Bachelors degree in engineering is required, with strong English communication and a commitment to safety and quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs (Studio 5000/RSLogix).
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Rockwell Automation tools.
- Interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Design PLC logic and machine sequences for manufacturing systems.
- Commission, test, and optimize automated production lines.
- Support installation, startup, and ramp-up at customer facilities.
- Diagnose PLC/HMI issues during commissioning and production.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, customers, and field technicians.
- Ensure automation systems meet safety and project requirements.
