Job summary

CIE USA-Century Plastics, a division of CIE Automotive, seeks a Product Engineer to drive development of interior and exterior trim from concept to launch. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility for manufacturing and alignment with customer requirements.

The role emphasizes CAD/CAM using CATIA or NX, strong GD&T knowledge, and collaboration with engineering, tooling, and quality to meet milestones and specifications.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related automotive technology.
• 5+ years of automotive experience with plastics.
• Proficient CAD review, with CATIA or NX experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior and exterior trim components from concept through launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and cost targets.
• Provide technical support in customer meetings and with program management.
• Create and maintain engineering BOMs and release drawings/models.
• Verify tolerances, GD&T, and dimensional accuracy with design and manufacturing teams.
