Talent With Heart in Lexington, KY is seeking a Plant General Manager to lead a complex automotive manufacturing operation. You will drive production, quality, safety, and cost performance, owning P&L and championing Lean and Six Sigma improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven experience leading a complex manufacturing plant or major manufacturing operation.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, productivity, and profitability.
• Working knowledge of automotive quality and launch methodologies (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans).
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Experience leading new product launches in automotive manufacturing.
• Plant-level financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and P&L responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate, and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for plant operations including production, quality, engineering, maintenance, materials, safety, delivery, and cost performance.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives and customer requirements.
• Ensure the plant meets or exceeds quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Maintain compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific quality systems.
• Drive a culture of quality, customer focus, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, problem-solving, standard work, and waste reduction.
• Analyze processes and performance metrics to improve efficiency, productivity, quality, throughput, cost, and profitability.
• Establish KPIs and management systems to monitor plant performance and accountability.
• Develop and manage annual operating plan, budget, forecasts, and financial performance.
• Own plant P&L, including cost control, labor efficiency, scrap, overtime, inventory, and productivity.
• Lead new product and program launches and ensure successful execution from launch through production.
• Ensure automotive launch and quality processes (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans) are followed.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, sales, materials, and operations to support programs and customers.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare for emergencies, supply disruptions, production interruptions, and other operational challenges.
• Develop and retain employees, promoting trust, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct evaluations; provide coaching and development.
• Foster open communication and accountability across all levels.
• Proactively resolve operational, quality, customer, and performance issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers across functions.
