Job summary

Moss Bros. Auto Group in Moreno Valley is seeking a PDI Technician to preload systems, inspect and service new vehicles, and ensure quality before delivery.

You will inspect lubrication, check for damages, and perform test-drives to confirm brake, transmission, and engine operation. Responsibilities include activating power equipment, touching up paint, installing optional equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while supporting the Service Department and upholding company safety

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles
• Speedy diagnostic abilities
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and procedures
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• ASE Certification/Technical degree preferred
• One year in a service department
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Preloads systems and inspects/serves new vehicles delivered to the dealership
• Inspects new vehicles for damages and missing components
• Test-drives vehicles to verify brakes, transmission, and engine operation
• Activates power equipment to ensure proper operation
• Touches up minor chips and scratches on paint
• Installs optional equipment and standard components as directed
• Follows safety policies and practices
• Assists other areas of the Service Department as needed
• Maintains organized workspace
