Job summary

Moss Bros Auto Group in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a PDI Technician to preload systems, inspect new vehicles, and ensure quality prior to delivery. You will test-drive, verify components, and inspect for damages, while performing routine maintenance and basic installations.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Preloads systems and inspects, prepares, and services all new vehicles delivered to the dealership.
• Inspects all new vehicles for obvious damages and missing components.
• Test-drives vehicles to ensure proper operation of brakes, transmission, and engine operation.
• Activates power equipment to ensure specified operating standards.
• Touches up chips and scratches on paint.
• Installs optional equipment specified by the dealer and standard components.
• Follows all safety policies and practices and assists in other Service Department areas.
• Maintains organized and clean workspace and high ethical standards.
