Job summary

Crossroads Ford of Indian Trail in Indian Trail, NC is seeking a full-time parts associate to stock and dispense auto parts and verify stock against packing slips. The role requires reporting shortages, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean receiving area.

You will participate in perpetual inventories, store stock properly, and use a computer for data entry. Must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and pass background checks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stocking and dispensing auto parts.
• Verify incoming parts against packing slips.
• Notify parts manager of shortages or overages when checking in stock and report damaged goods.
• Prepare shipments of parts for local deliveries and for carrier shipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the parts department receiving area.
• Keep inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assist in inventory control by participating in perpetual inventories.
• Store stock in proper locations after orders are checked in.
• Operate a computer and perform data entry as required.

Job Duties

• Prepare shipment of parts for local deliveries and parts to be shipped by common carrier
• Responsible for cleanliness of parts department receiving area
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Assist in inventory control by participating in perpetual inventories
• Put stock away in the proper locations after orders have been checked in
• Duties require the ability to operate a computer and make data entry

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license
