Job summary

Crossroads Ford Of Indian Trail Inc is seeking a parts clerk to stock and dispense parts, verify stock against packing slips, and notify management of shortages or damaged items. The role also prepares shipments for local deliveries and for carrier shipments, maintains a clean receiving area, and supports ongoing inventory control with perpetual reconciliations.

A computer is required for data entry and day-to-day operations within the parts department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successfully pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and dispensing parts.
• Verify incoming parts against packing slips.
• Notify parts manager of shortages or overages when checking in stock, and report damaged goods received.
• Prepare shipment of parts for local deliveries and shipments by common carrier.
• Maintain cleanliness of parts department receiving area.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assist in inventory control by participating in perpetual inventories.
• Put stock away in the proper locations after orders have been checked in.
• Duties require the ability to operate a computer and data entry.
