Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high-level service to retail and installer customers. You will support store management, promote service programs, and assist in daily operations including stock, pricing, and returns.

Qualified candidates will provide friendly, professional service, handle multiple tasks, and use parts lookup skills. Training and advancement are encouraged in a stable, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Ability to multitask, handling customers in person and on the phone at the same time.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences for parts lookup.

Responsibilities

• Greet retail and installer customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
• Follow and promote customer service programs (Hi-5, low price, related selling).
• Assist managers and installer service staff with professional customers as needed.
• Process cash, checks, and credit transactions securely and accurately.
• Handle exchanges and returns per company policy and maintain the cash drawer.
• Answer store calls, lookup parts, quote prices, and suggest related items.
• Perform daily store tasks: stocking, planning, and merchandising updates.
