Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Parts Specialist to deliver high levels of service to retail and installer customers in our California store. The role supports store management and includes cash handling, price quotes, and processing transactions.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; the position offers pay between $18.47 and $25.05 per hour, plus annual/quarterly incentives and premiums where applicable.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service.
• Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time.
• Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired).
• ASE certification (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote all company customer service programs and initiatives.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Assist managers and installers with professional customers as needed.
• Process exchanges and returns per policy.
• Handle cash, checks, and card transactions accurately.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Perform in-store services and basic troubleshooting within policy.
