Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a proactive Store Pro to serve as the main contact for customers in the NAPA retail store, delivering accurate automotive parts solutions and a high-quality customer experience. You will engage with both retail and wholesale customers, utilizing product knowledge to support sales and store operations.

Responsibilities include order fulfillment, inventory tasks, and delivering a consistently positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and technology systems.
• Experience in automotive, retail, or parts environment preferred.
• ASE Certification is optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate automotive parts solutions to retail and wholesale customers.
• Deliver a consistently positive and engaging customer experience.
• Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and support team members.
• Operate systems including POS, inventory/catalog tools, and communication devices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counts; maintain accurate records.
• Build relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Coordinate and dispatch deliveries using delivery management systems and pull orders.
• Support store operations and contribute to merchandising and efficiency improvements.
