Job summary

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket parts, experience with DMS like CDK or Reynolds & Reynolds, and proven leadership to drive profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Automotive Parts Manager or Parts Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of OEM and aftermarket automotive parts and inventory systems.
• Proficiency with dealership management software (DMS) such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive department profitability.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the parts department, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
• Source, purchase, and maintain optimal stock levels of OEM and aftermarket parts.
• Coordinate with service technicians and service advisors to ensure timely parts availability.
• Build and maintain relationships with parts vendors, wholesalers, and suppliers.
• Monitor department performance metrics, sales goals, and profitability targets.
• Train, supervise, and support parts department staff.
• Handle customer inquiries, special orders, and parts returns professionally.
