Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an inventory and parts coordinator to support vehicle maintenance and repairs across a fleet of newer vehicles. You will manage parts inventory, coordinate sourcing and distribution, and work with technicians to ensure parts availability for timely service.

Role requires knowledge of automotive parts, ability to lift heavy items, and comfort in a busy shop environment. On-site presence is required, with benefits including paid time off and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• Knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and basic shop operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
• Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months automotive parts, dealership, fleet, or technical school experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

• You will manage inventory and coordinate the sourcing, ordering, and distribution of automotive parts, tires, tools, and shop supplies needed to support vehicle maintenance and repair.
• You will process purchase orders, repair orders, and invoices, maintain accurate inventory records, and help ensure parts operations run efficiently.
