Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver in Burlington, MA. You will be responsible for selecting, verifying, and delivering parts to customers and other dealerships within the local market area. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and timely service.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, coordinating pickups, and ensuring paperwork aligns with invoices. Must lift up to 50 pounds and pass pre-employment screens. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Pre-employment screens (background and drug test) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, efficient manner.
• Coordinate pickups or deliveries with parts manager or wholesale representative.
• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, and wholesale accounts.
• Pull and fill orders from stock and verify accuracy against invoices and POs.
• Ensure parts deliveries match invoices and organize loading/unloading of parts trucks.

Compensation: $18-$20 hourly

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.

The Parts Driver is responsible for selecting, verifying and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments.

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner


• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries


• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors


• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed


• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO (purchase order) for each pick-up


• Secure and unload parts truck each night


• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts


• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule


• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds


• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required


• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age


• Must have a valid Driver's License


• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
