Job summary

Asbury in Burlington, MA is seeking an Automotive Parts Driver to select, verify, and deliver parts to customers and dealerships within the local market area. You will ensure accurate orders, timely deliveries, and smooth coordination with parts staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Check with the parts manager or other staff before leaving to coordinate pickups or deliveries.
• Pick up and deliver parts to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors.
• Pull and fill orders from stock as directed.
• Verify that delivered parts match the invoice and PO.
• Secure and unload parts truck each night.
• Assist with stocking and posting orders to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Maintain prompt, efficient paperwork and delivery schedules.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

The Parts Driver is responsiblefor selecting, verifying and delivering parts to customers and/or other dealerships in the general prescribed market area of the local parts departments.

• Assist all customers and associates in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
• Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter people, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last minute pick-ups or deliveries
• Pick up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and/or vendors
• Pulls and fills orders from stock, as directed
• Ensure that parts to be delivered matches invoice, verify that invoice matches PO (purchase order) for each pick-up
• Secure and unload parts truck each night
• Assist with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts
• Maintain a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork and delivery schedule
• Must be able to lift up to and over 50 pounds
• Experience with automotive parts or military equivalent experience is a plus but not required
• Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background and drug test)
