Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Driver responsible for picking, staging and delivering parts to pro customers and handling returns and cores.

You will promote current sales and loyalty programs, build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, and assist in upselling to increase transaction value. Maintain store cleanliness, stock and inventory knowledge, while serving walk-in customers and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Automotive parts knowledge preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Willing to work days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
