Qualifications

• Must have a good understanding of vehicle parts and their functions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Experience in parts sales or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to adapt to changes in warehouse processes and procedures.
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Sell automotive parts to retail customers and internal service personnel.
• Identify required parts using catalogs, software, and manufacturer resources.
• Answer incoming calls, provide pricing information, and process customer orders.
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory while maintaining accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and replenishment.
• Maintain records related to sales, special orders, invoices, returns, and inventory transactions.
• Uphold dealership standards for customer service, workplace safety and department organization.
• Collaborate with service, sales and management teams to support dealership operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Automotive Parts Counterperson Responsibilities:
