Job summary

Marine Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counterperson for a full-time role in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have automotive parts counter experience or wholesale background and a valid driver’s license. Schedule is Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation.

The position requires dealership exposure and the ability to communicate with service advisors and customers about parts availability and orders. Background checks and a pre-employment drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the parts sales process from customer inquiry, invoicing and payment processing
• Works with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Completes special order parts requests for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer
• Communicates with customer and/or service advisors on the status of parts ordered and notifies them upon delivery
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Serves as backup to stocking clerk as necessary
• Communicates with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understands and follows regulations applicable to industry

Marine Chevrolet is looking for an experiencedFull-Time Parts Counterperson. Required schedule will be Monday – Friday, Saturday be rotation. Ideal candidate will have automotive parts counter experience/wholesale. Auto dealership experience with General Motors is preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Communicates with customer and/or service advisors/customer service specialists on the status of any parts ordered and notifies them upon delivery to the dealership

• Communicates with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
