Bob Bell Automotive Group in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team. You will assist customers with parts inquiries, source and recommend parts, and process orders to support service and sales teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist retail, wholesale, and service department customers with parts inquiries and purchases.
• Greet customers and technicians and provide exceptional customer service.
• Identify, source, and recommend the correct parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software.
• Process parts orders accurately and efficiently; maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability for repairs.
• Follow up on special orders and communicate status updates to customers and internal departments.
• Process returns, warranties, and core returns according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department.
• Meet dealership and manufacturer performance standards.

• Promptly greet customers and technicians and provide exceptional customer service
• Identify, source, and recommend the correct parts using manufacturer catalogs and dealership software
• Process parts orders accurately and efficientlyMaintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels

• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability for repairs

Qualifications

• GM / Chevrolet experience preferred
• CDK experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and accessories
• Experience with dealership management systems and electronic parts catalogs preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment
