Job summary

Spitzer Autoworld Amherst is seeking a dedicated Parts Counter Associate to deliver high-quality service at our Amherst location. You will assist customers by identifying parts, processing sales in our inventory system, and maintaining accurate parts stock.

Qualifications

• Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Outgoing, upbeat personality with excellent interpersonal skill
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders by listening to and clarifying requests; identifying automotive parts.
• Process sales using the sales/inventory system and handle payments/receipts.
• Maintain parts inventory and reorder when stock is low.
• Stock shelves and organize parts inventory.
• Process returns and issue credits.
• Ensure safety and security compliance.
• Stay updated on new products and training opportunities.
• Take initiative to add value and meet goals.
