Job summary

Heiser Automotive Group is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Parts Counterperson to join our team. You will be a key resource for customers and internal departments by helping identify the right parts, providing accurate information and pricing, and supporting efficient day-to-day parts operations in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Automotive parts knowledge a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift parts and supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Valid, clean Wisconsin driver’s license.
• Experience with parts lookup and pricing is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, by phone, and online.
• Help customers and team members identify the correct parts and accessories for their needs.
• Provide pricing, product details, availability, and order status updates.
• Process parts sales and support inventory management and stock organization.
• Locate and source parts from available inventory and outside vendors when needed.
• Order parts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Partner with the service department to ensure prompt delivery of parts for repairs.
• Communicate price quotes, shipment updates, and special-order information clearly and professionally.
• Support the parts department with additional duties as needed.
