Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in an automotive parts department.
• One year of sales experience.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate information clearly.
• Professional appearance and willingness to wear a dealership uniform.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to manage multiple customers.
• Authorization to work in the USA and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting parts, suggest related items and ensure exposure to the full product line.
• Pull purchases from stock, confirm availability, and submit emergency orders as requested.
• Answer phone calls, provide quotes, and assist outside sales with orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pickup.
• Verify will call and back-order files; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Assist service technicians in selecting parts for repairs and open repair orders.
• Order non-stock parts after discussion with Shop Foremen to ensure timely receipt.
• Process all charges, returns, and credits with proper documentation and payments.
• Replenish inventory daily and keep counter areas organized; report concerns.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents to a supervisor.
