Group 1 Automotive, Inc. and Bob Howard Acura are seeking a qualified Automotive Parts Retail Counter Salesperson to join our team. This role supports technicians, service staff, and the sales team by locating and providing the right parts with accuracy and courtesy.

You will maintain parts inventory, price items, and assist customers daily in a fast-paced dealership setting. A strong customer-service mindset and dependable work ethic are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Automotive parts department experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Professional appearance and work ethic.
• Ability to work well in a process-driven environment.
• Valid driver license in the state of employment with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist technicians, service advisors, and sales staff in locating and obtaining parts.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain records using inventory systems.
• Process orders, stock incoming parts, and ensure correct inventory locations.
• Keep the parts department clean and organized.
• Accurately price parts using the proper pricing source and update the system.
• Answer calls and provide professional service to meet customer needs.
• Inform customers of current specials.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's values.
• Communicate effectively with GP1 employees.
