Job summary

Crossroads Ford of Lumberton is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Counter Salesperson to help walk-in customers select parts, pull from stock, and assist service technicians. You will handle phone inquiries, provide price quotes, and ensure customers are exposed to the full product line.

Requires 5+ years of automotive parts department experience, valid driver's license, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years automotive parts department experience required (Dealer preferred).
• 3 years automotive parts experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Ford, Reynolds and Wholesale is a plus!
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful pass drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Pull purchased parts from stock.
• Field phone calls, provide price quotes and other required information.
• Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process.
• Prolonged periods of computer usage and data entry.
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers.
