Job summary

Crossroads Ford of Lumberton in Lumberton, NC is seeking a skilled Parts Department Associate to assist walk-in customers, pull stock, quote prices and support service technicians. You will help customers across the full product line and ensure accurate data entry in our systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of automotive parts experience, Ford dealer exposure preferred, and a valid driver's license. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and able to pass background checks and

Qualifications

• 5+ years automotive Parts department experience (Dealer preferred).
• 3 years automotive Parts experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Ford, Reynolds and Wholesale is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug, background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements and ensure exposure to the full product line
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• Field phone calls, provide price quotes and other required information
• Assist service technicians in selecting parts needed for repairs in process
• Prolonged periods of computer usage and data entry
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
