The Lou Fusz Automotive Network is seeking a dependable Parts Counterperson to join our team. You will assist technicians, service advisors, and customers, identify and locate the right parts, and ensure accurate pricing and delivery information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive dealership parts experience preferred.
• Experience with parts catalogs, dealership management systems, and inventory systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work with internal and external customers in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians and advisors with identifying, locating, and supplying the correct parts needed for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter and by phone with parts inquiries, availability, pricing, and ordering.
• Use electronic parts catalogs and dealership systems to identify and lookup parts.
• Provide accurate pricing, availability, and estimated delivery information.
• Pull and fill parts orders accurately and efficiently from dealership inventory.
• Process special orders, backorders, and emergency orders and monitor status through completion.
• Communicate order status with technicians, advisors, customers, and department personnel.
• Locate parts from outside sources to minimize repair delays.
• Ensure parts issued to the Service Department are billed to the correct repair order.
