Job summary

Genuine Parts Company, home of the NAPA brand, is seeking a Counter Sales associate to greet customers, answer questions, and provide fast, friendly service at our NAPA Store. You will use auto parts knowledge to assist customers in person and over the phone, helping both retail and wholesale clients.

Ideal candidates have a background in automotive parts or a strong willingness to learn, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License not required but helpful
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn auto parts

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter or over the phone
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members answer questions for customers
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into the NAPA Store
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system
