Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a NAPA Counter Sales associate to be the face of our store, helping customers with auto parts and providing friendly, knowledgeable service. You’ll use a computer, cash register, and catalog system to assist retail and wholesale customers at the counter and over the phone.

Ideal candidates enjoy helping customers with auto parts, have some automotive background, and are eager to learn more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school courses a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to learn all things auto parts.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person or over the phone.
• Assist other team members with customer questions using parts knowledge.
• Provide outstanding customer care and interactions at the store.
• Maintain fast-paced, customer-focused service at the counter.
• Engage customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Operate computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.
