Genuine Parts Company is seeking a NAPA Store Counter Sales associate in Fairbanks, AK. You’ll be the face of the store, helping retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions and purchases while keeping a fast-paced, friendly environment.

Join a team that values customer care, knowledge sharing, and ongoing training. A valid driver's license, a HS diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn are required; ASE certs are a plus.

Qualifications

• Background and knowledge of auto parts.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED; trade courses or degree preferred.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Willingness to learn automotive parts and processes.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone
• Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions for customers
• Providing outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store!
• Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores
• Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience
• Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system
