Genuine Parts Company in Naperville, IL, is seeking a NAPA Counter Sales associate who will serve as the face of the store, helping customers with automotive parts knowledge and delivering a positive shopping experience.

You’ll welcome customers, answer questions, and use the computer and cash register to complete transactions in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license, a HS diploma or GED, and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Love fast paced retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail/wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
• Use parts knowledge to assist other team members with customer questions.
• Provide outstanding customer care at the store entrance/counter.
• Contribute to a positive, energetic customer experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Greet customers and guide them through the shopping experience.
• Operate computer, cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.
