Parts Authority, founded in 1973, is a leading national distributor of automotive parts, tools and transmissions, with 300+ locations across the US. We are seeking a retail associate to ring in transactions, assist customers and maintain cash handling responsibilities in a fast-paced store environment.

Responsibilities include handling invoices, balancing cash, and coordinating with store managers to resolve customer issues while upholding safety and accuracy in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience required.
• Experience handling cash preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ring in customer transactions.
• Deal with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Lend out money as necessary and manage petty cash.
• Accurately handle invoices and ensure that drivers mark bills as 'Paid'.
• Account for cash/credit/check transactions.
• Work with countermen and store managers to keep them aware of issues with customers.
• Locate missing funds if there is a problem with the register balance.
• Will be assigned other duties as needed.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
