BALISE AUTO SALES INC in Warwick, RI is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to manage parts flow and customer service in a fast-paced dealership environment.

You will track parts, handle billing through the service department, and coordinate shipping to manufacturers while maintaining accurate records and providing top-notch service to customers.

Formación

• Experience in the automotive parts field.
• Customer service and organization skills.
• Tekion knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Track all incoming and outgoing parts for the dealership.
• Handle parts payment collection and ensure correct billing through service and collision departments.
• Package and ship parts back to the manufacturer.
• Maintain accurate records with customer name and job number for reference.
• Refer to parts manual to identify correct parts for make/model/year.
• Provide high-quality customer service.
• Answer phone calls with price quotes and information.
• Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock items needing attention.
• Notify Service Advisor/Customer when specialty parts arrive.
• Notify Body Shops when parts arrive and delivery timelines.
• Assist in shelving orders promptly and correctly.
• Follow up on backordered parts.
• Other duties assigned by Parts Manager.

Job Details: Job Location: Toyota Warwick - Warwick, RI 02888, Salary Range: $16.00 - $24.00 Hourly, Parts Counter Associate

Job Description

• Tracking all incoming and outgoing parts for dealership
• Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed correctly through service department and collision repair.
• Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer
• Complete appropriate record keeping; including tagging all parts with customer name and job number for easy reference
• Refer to parts manual (hard copy & electronic format) to identify exactly the right parts for the make, model, and year of vehicles being serviced.
• Providing highest quality of customer service
• Answer phone calls providing price quotes and other information
• Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or materials that need immediate attention
• Notify Service Advisor and/or Customer when specialty parts have been received
• Notify the Body Shops when all parts have been arrived and when they will be delivered
• Assist in putting all order away in a timely manner
• Follow up on backordered parts
• Other duties assigned by the Parts Manager

Environmental & Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 50 pounds
• This position may require up to 0-5% travel
