Job summary

MAG is seeking a dependable Automotive Parts Counter Associate to join our dealership parts department in Goldsboro, NC. The role offers full-time temporary employment with potential for permanent placement after about 6–8 months and includes paid training to bring you up to speed on our parts system and processes.

You will assist customers and technicians, look up and order parts, and coordinate with the Parts Manager to locate items not in stock.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive knowledge or experience preferred, but not required.

• Assist customers and technicians with their parts needs.
• Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer service.
• Learn to look up, identify, and order automotive parts.
• Work with the Parts Manager to locate parts not in stock.
• Process special-order parts requests.
• Communicate with customers and staff regarding parts availability and order status.
• Check in, stock, and organize incoming parts orders.
• Assist with inventory management and daily department operations.
• Follow company policies and safety procedures.

NOW HIRING – AUTOMOTIVE PARTS COUNTER ASSOCIATE

We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our dealership parts department. If you are organized, enjoy working with customers and different departments, and are a team player willing to learn, we want to hear from you!

Automotive knowledge is a plus, but dealership parts experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person.

POSITION DETAILS:

• Full-Time Temporary Position (Estimated 6-8 Months)
• Potential for Permanent Employment
• Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Must be available to work some Saturdays
