Madison Honda in Madison, NJ is seeking a full-time Parts Counter Person to join our service team. The role involves helping customers and technicians, ordering and billing parts, and keeping the parts area organized.

Candidates should be dependable, have a High School diploma, be computer literate, and able to work some evenings and Saturdays. Prior parts experience is a plus; we provide training and opportunities for career growth.

• Must be customer-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
• One to two years of prior automotive parts experience is preferred, from a retail or dealership setting.
• Must be computer literate and comfortable using a parts information system.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Flexible schedule including some evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid driver's license with few to no points on record.

Responsabilidades

• Order, receive, and bill all parts.
• Maintain proper storage of parts.
• Stock shelves.
• Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones.
• Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping.
• Pick-up and delivery of parts.
• Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean.
• Maintain a superior level of customer service.
• Other duties as directed by management.

Parts Advisor Duties

Include but are not limited to:

• Order, receive, and bill all parts
• Maintain proper storage of parts
• Stock shelves
• Assist retail customers and technicians, including answering phones
• Assist with parts inventory management through bin counts and record keeping
• Pick-up and delivery of parts
• Keep department and work area orderly, neat, and clean
• Maintain a superior level of customer service
• Other duties as directed by management

Automotive Parts Counter Qualifications:

• Must be a customer-oriented, self-motivated team player
• One to two years of prior automotive parts experience is required, either from a retail parts outlet or a dealership setting.
• Must be computer literate
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and Saturdays
• Must have a valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record.
