Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensure exposure to full product line.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order if necessary.
• Maintain orderly records of repair orders, invoices and special-order parts.
• Keep front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
