Toyota of Santa Barbara is seeking a Parts Counterperson to support our team and deliver exceptional experiences to customers in a fast-paced, professional setting.

The role involves managing the parts sales workflow, coordinating with staff and customers, and ensuring accurate pricing and part availability. A high school diploma and prior auto parts sales experience are preferred, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior auto parts sales experience preferred.
• Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment.
• Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents.
• Ability to calculate figures including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and volumes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Converse effectively about customer parts status.
• Read and understand parts catalogs for lookup and speaking with customers.
• Provide price quotes and other information to customers.
