Qualifications

• Must have experience in automotive paint and prep work.
• Experience using pressure-fed spray equipment.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Must pass respirator medical evaluation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work by studying work orders, bill of materials and blueprints.
• Operate paint spray equipment to paint surfaces of bodies and parts.
• Dispose of hazardous waste from painting processes per laws.
• Apply paint coats per company specifications.
• Adjust spray equipment for proper flow and coating thickness.
• Inspect completed work on bodies and parts after painting.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; wear PPE and respirator.
• Record actions by completing production and quality forms.
