Abra Auto Glass in Elk River, MN is seeking a full-time Painter to join our team. The role supports our automotive collision work, focusing on prepping and painting vehicles to meet ABRA’s repair standards.

We value 5+ years of automotive painting experience (or a Vo-Tech certificate) and encourage ongoing I-CAR/ASE training. Competitive pay and a family-owned, supportive culture await members of our Elk River shop family.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in automotive painting preferred.
• Prior painting experience is required or Vo-Tech certificate.
• ICAR and ASE training preferred.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of manufacturer’s repair processes & adherence to ABRA’s technical repair processes.
• Ability to prep and paint vehicle in a timely manner.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize daily tasks.
• Commitment to ongoing I-CAR training.

The job duties include:

• Knowledge of manufacturer’s repair processes & adherence to ABRA’s technical repair processes.


• Ability to prep and paint vehicle in a timely manner.


• Must maintain a valid driver’s license in order to drive customer vehicle.


• Prior painting experience is required and or Vo-Tech certificate


• Demonstrated commitment to continued learning by participation in on- going I-Car Training.


• Must be able to work independently and prioritize daily tasks


• ICAR and ASE training preferred


• 5+ years experience in automotive painting preferred

Hours for position: Between 7:30 am to 5:00 pm (dependent on business need) Monday - Friday; No weekends.
Compensation for this role is dependent upon previous experience. As a company we are very competitive in the collision industry
