The Vehicle Painter position is responsible to complete final finish surface work on show and event vehicles used by customers of the Special Vehicles operation. The position requires following established practices and procedures to ensure quality performance to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Essential job functions:

• Perform wet sand and rub
• Perform full vehicle repaints and production paint flaws.
• All work must meet show quality standards

Qualifications

• High degree of paint skill and expertise required
• Prior show vehicle works strongly preferred
• Must have own tools

Also requires the following skills:

• Good communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers
• Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and follow through on required tasks
• Some computer experience as plus

Other Requirements:

• Lifting requirements: 5 – 40 lbs.
• Requires moderate to high level of physical activity
