Job summary

Refinish Supply Company in Watertown, SD is hiring a Store Counter Sales Representative to build strong relationships with professional automotive customers and drive sales of paints, refinishing products, and equipment.

You will provide friendly service, help customers choose the right products, and assist with orders, questions, and product recommendations in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused, outgoing, and motivated personality.
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Paint mixing or automotive paint experience is a plus, but training is available.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, long-term relationships with professional customers such as body shops and dealerships.
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly service and help customers select automotive paint, refinishing products, and equipment.
• Drive sales by understanding customer needs and recommending products.
• Assist customers with paint and refinishing questions and find solutions for applications.
• Mix and prepare automotive paint according to specifications.
• Answer calls, take orders, provide product information, and upsell where possible.
• Research products using catalogs and manufacturer resources to provide accurate recommendations.
• Follow up with customers to encourage repeat business and growth.
• Process sales transactions, returns, and customer concerns per policy.
• Coordinate with outside sales and team members for a seamless experience.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and product organization.
