Ford Motor Company is seeking an In-Vehicle Network Foundations Architect to own the core communication building blocks for the next-generation vehicle architecture. You will deliver essential interfaces, layouts, and topologies and collaborate with hardware/software architects to implement network artifacts for future platforms.

The role requires hands-on software engineering with embedded systems, Ethernet distributed systems experience, and knowledge of network protocols.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience with embedded systems.
• 2+ years of Ethernet distributed systems experience.
• 2+ years of experience applying network architecture, protocols, and standards.
• 2+ years of experience in Network Analysis and Simulation tools.

Responsabilidades

• Create and maintain in-vehicle communication systems: architecture, topology, and protocols across OSI layers.
• Deliver foundational libraries and functional topology elements for a standardized platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated pipelines for network artifacts in industry formats.
• Establish validation procedures for network architecture deliverables.
• Drive performance optimizations in data packing and communication protocols.
