Job summary

Protech Automotive Solutions is seeking Mobile Service Technicians to perform air conditioning service, automotive repairs, on-site scanning support, wire repairs and diagnostics within their market area. Candidates should have at least 3 years of automotive repair experience, proficiency with diagnostic scan tools, and a commitment to customer service.

Trade school experience and ASE/I-CAR certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years automotive repair experience.
• Knowledge of diagnostic scan tools and factory software.
• ASE or I-CAR certifications are a plus.
• Trade school experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide air conditioning evacuation and recharge, on-site repairs, and diagnostics.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repair needs to customers and insurance adjusters.
• Maintain organized work area and complete tool/equipment updates as required.
• Travel within market area and participate in training and certifications.

Job Summary

Mobile Service Technicians will complete air conditioning service, automotive repairs,on site scanning support,wire repairs and diagnostics within their market area.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Customer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency
• PerformAir Conditioning Evacuation & Recharge
• Troubleshootand diagnosemechanical and electricalrepairs
• Understand and complete estimating, invoicing, part identification, pre and post quality control checklists
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and repair planning needs to include shop personnel, insurance adjusters, and customers
• Utilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and Virtual support team resources to make the most effective recommendations
• Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed
• Check all parts for quality and accuracy before installing
• Complete assigned training and certifications, to include continuing education courses
• Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
• Maintain a well-organized work area
• Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediately
• Accountable for assigned inventory
• Including: Laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment provided
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values

• Obtain AC certification & follow safety standards

  Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
  • Ability to pass abackground check
  • Must be able to lift60 pounds independently
  • Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
  • Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
  • Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
  • Extensive travel within assigned areais expected
  • May have exposure to fumes, dust,and chemicals
  • Ability to work in a shop environmentin inclement weather
  • Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
