Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic Technician in Baton Rouge, LA to apply technical knowledge to assist customers and support the Autel scanning unit. You will handle inbound and outbound calls and respond to questions about scanning procedures and vehicle technology.

The position requires 2+ years of diagnostic experience; I-CAR/ASE certifications are preferred. You will perform research, interpret estimates and work orders, and maintain clear communication with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic Technician.
• I-CAR Certification preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Must have or obtain tools to complete duties as assigned.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings including background checks.
• Minimum age requirement of 21+ years.
• Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand instructions, estimates, and work orders.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Work through competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician required
• I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred
• Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks
• Minimum age requirement of 21+ years
• Ability to do consistent physical activity - reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
• Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions
