Job summary

Jobtailor in Austin, TX is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic Technician to apply technical knowledge to assist customers and support the Autel scanning unit. You will handle calls, answer technical questions, and conduct research to resolve vehicle technology issues.

The role requires 2+ years as a diagnostic technician, relevant certifications preferred, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering friendly customer service. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

2+ years of prior experience as a Diagnostic technician.
I-CAR & ASE certifications preferred.
Must currently have or be willing to obtain proper tools to successfully complete job duties as assigned.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including background checks.
Minimum age requirement of 21+ years.
Ability to do consistent physical activity – reach below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
Ability to provide personable, friendly customer service to internal and external customers.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. with no restrictions.
