Job Description

Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Pay: $15 to $32 per hour, based on experience. The role is eligible for additional compensation and incentives.

As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you will perform diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of guest vehicles. Starting day one, you will undergo comprehensive technician training to develop your skills and prepare for career advancement. You will be part of a team dedicated to delivering 5-star guest experiences, ensuring vehicles are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities
  • Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications.
  • Obtain guest approval for repairs based on diagnosis and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Test drive guest vehicles and safely operate shop equipment for inventory pick-up.
  • Collaborate with team members and provide leadership to General Service Technicians.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • 2+ years of automotive technician experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Own basic automotive tools or participate in the tool purchase program
  • Ability to work overhead, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Guest and team-focused mindset
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automotive State Inspector License (preferred)
