Job summary

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking Automotive Mechanics / Certified Safety Inspectors to join our team in the Chesapeake area. The role combines guaranteed hourly pay with weekly bonuses and a $10 commission for every state inspection.

You will inspect vehicles, perform essential repairs, and ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a minimum of one year of experience or approved training, a valid Virginia driver’s license, and a Virginia Safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid Virginia driver's license and a Virginia Safety Inspector license.
• Minimum of one year of automotive mechanic experience or proof of approved training.

Responsibilities

• Perform state-mandated vehicle inspections and undercar repairs.
• Handle brakes, struts, tires, oil changes, and fluid checks.
• Disassemble, mount, rotate, and balance tires as needed.
