Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a team in a climate-controlled facility, using advanced tools and ongoing training to grow your skills.

We offer a New Hire Bonus up to $5,000 based on experience, and you’ll gain hands-on experience with domestic and foreign vehicles while upholding exceptional customer satisfaction and trust.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
